The Center for Ocular, Facial and Somato Prosthetics specializes in the provision of a full maxillofacial prosthetic service including complete prosthetic clinical assessment from impression taking, construction and fitting of ocular, auricular, nasal, orbital, facial, oro-facial prostheses, and maxillofacial prosthetics associated with osseointegrated implantology.

The Center for Ocular, Facial and Somato Prosthetics also provides a post mastectomy prosthetic service including nipple prostheses following breast reconstruction.

Prosthetic Eye, Ear, Nose, Hands and More Help Restore Function
Prosthetic services include ocular, ear, nose, hand, finger, arm, leg, feet, toes and other body prostheses to restore function and aesthetics for patients with traumatic, surgical and congenital deformities (i.e., Treacher Collins Syndrome) to head, neck, body and limbs. All of these prosthetic services will require patient assessment, counseling, impression taking and construction, fitting and ongoing care of the patient and their prosthesis. This includes patient assessment, impressions clinical and laboratory design construction,and fitting of the prosthetic device.

Referrals for prosthetic devices are accepted from Maxillofacial, Plastic, ENT, Ophthalmology consultants and other surgical specialties for the prosthetic rehabilitation of surgically, congenitally or traumatically compromised patients.
